This month's Anti Burnout Book Club read is 'How to Stay Sane' by Philippa Perry. It's a bit more of a technical read but it's nicely broken up in chapters with a handful of simple illustrations.
There are a bunch of exercises at the end of the book which take anywhere from 1 minute to 30 minutes and even one task that requires making a family tree and looking back at your heritage to understand different behavoiral patterns....eek!
Even if you don't make it to the exersices, 'How to Stay Sane' is defintely worth a read. Somehow, even just reading the book helped me feel calmer. It's re-assuring the learn some of the psychology behind why you might feel stressed or frustrated as well as, ways you can process and diffuse said emotions.

I read this in one go so it's not too hard to digest but if you want to break it down and read over a few days or weeks, the pace and formatting makes it really easy to do so.
Want to give this one a read? Why not check it out from the AUP Library? Look for 616.89 PER and you'll be able to find it!
