BE: Tell us a bit about yourself:
JK: I’m a multi-disciplinary artist studying MA Printmaking [At Arts University Plymouth], exploring a sense of place primarily within the landscapes of South Devon. I’m fascinated by how perceptions and emotions, landscape, geography, weather and water, shape our inner ecologies and experience of the world.
BE: What are you focusing on in your practice at the moment?
JK: I’m enchanted by the wild ponies of Dartmoor with their embodied freedom and wild spirit. From initial photographs I’ve made some toned cyanotype prints, and some drawings, and hope to explore making some collagraphs in the future!

BE: What would you say is your biggest anti burnout tip when it comes to making work?
JK: Find time to enjoy Dartmoor and being by the sea ….both such good medicine for the heart and mind.
